Carpal Tunnel

The carpal tunnel contains the median nerve, which may be crushed by the roof the carpal tunnel due to swelling from repetitive motion.  A carpal tunnel release removes the pressure on the median nerve, reducing pain and improving sensation.  This operation may safely be performed as an outpatient procedure under general or local anesthesia.
