Breast AsyMmetry

Poland syndrome and tuberous breast are two relatively common breast deformities. Poland syndrome involves malformation of the breast, pectoralis muscle and possibly the hand. A tuberous breast constricts the breast base, leading to widening of the areola and a narrow asymmetric breast. Both conditions can be treated with surgery and may involve placement of a breast implant.
