Sebaceous Nevus

A sebaceous nevus appears as a yellow/orange, smooth birthmark, often found in the scalp. They may appear patchy and without hair. These birthmarks have a risk of becoming a skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma). The gold standard of treatment is surgical excision.
